a choir of angels

Driving by your house
2nd to last on the left of dead end street
I serve my heart up hearty
at the dinner table
for you to eat

Midnight comes and goes by
Bloated starlight fills the smoggy sky
you and I
share cigarettes
and cookie cutter
lovers' lies

I ask you in the other room
I'm not prepared
I don't assume
such animalistic magnetism
such a passion-driven
organism

You taste like jolly ranchers
on your lips and on your nipples
Come at me with lengthy claws
and kiss me 'til I'm crippled

soft skin and curves that could kill a man
good thing I'm not the sort
if you talk nicely, he'll treat you better
take you to the lagoon
the last resort

legs up in the air
hail mary full of grace
I look up from my meal
with blood all over my face

lap and lap and lap and lap
at last she's comes
here comes the blast
I love it when you sing for me
soprano angel
grab your feet
