Analysis of Cold, hard Cash

It seems to me, that as I look
that anyone gets in this book.
Please buy our cups, please buy our plaques
Our greeting cards or our tote bags.
Will you attend our poetry bash?
because we really need the cash.
Our calendar, so you can look
at the right date to buy the book.
The one where you are published free
in all your glory, for all to see.
There's no need to waste your time,
to try to make the darn thing rhyme.
Please don't strain in to a wreck,
'cause all we're after is your cheque.
