Analysis of Cause

Must we invent an answer sent
to fill a vacuum?
Science absent, no knowledge spent,
folklore can assume.

The things we know, despite the flow,
have now taken place.
What's left to go is yet to show:
scenario's best case.

The uncaused cause is cause for pause;
from whence has it come?
The canon laws applause a clause
some bow to succumb.

Dead reckoning is beckoning
the globe-shrugged Atlas.
The rhumb bearing is sum sharing
points on a compass.

The "kettledrum" booms with a thrum
in rhythmic rumpus.
Riffraff sound scum, mindlessly numb;
basis of fracas.
