Analysis of Cat Sentiments

Ah, a new morning! I hear the birds tweet
Oh, my tummy! I need to eat
My human is still snoring on the bed
To wait another hour and I am dead
Behold, I will release my great meow
Come on, wake up! I need my food now
You make first part of my days rough
A bowl of fish isn't even enough
After breakfast I will roam and play
Then comes lunch, I can do this all day
And when I'm tired I'll take a nap
Let's see… on the couch or on mama's lap?
I'm happy when you hear the purr
More of it once you brush my fur
Thanks for cleaning after my mess
In return, I'll cheer you up when you're depressed
Clearly, I am a cunning little feline
As clever as a troublesome canine
So please be patient when I demand
Things that I desire, hope you understand
Sure, dogs must be truly loyal
But for me, we cats are royal.
