Freedom from Politics

People divided, people united, people apathetic
Same changes that only make us all sick
How they love to rule and take control
Who among them still has a soul?
Promises of peace every four to six years
Only to bring more wars causing families more tears
Endless arguments from north to south, east to west
News headlines always about nations' unrest
I choose to dismiss the illusion of politics
And the leaders who in their sleeves have many tricks
The earth is a big stage for their foolish, selfish show
The audience just watch and accept so how'd they know?
“Vote for me!”, “I'm better!”, most of them say
To gain approval and be appointed on the election day
Just a disgrace for their efforts are in vain
It is manifest that troubles constantly remain
But somewhere above there is a Good Great King
To adhere His rules is like an everlasting spring
Your days become lighter and hope anew
There's no confusion 'cause His Words are true
Under His authority one finds real liberty
From this world's deceptions he is finally free
