Analysis of Before The Last Goodbye

If you knew you had six months before your last goodbye,
are there dreams yet unfulfilled still in your mind's eye?

Would you'd like to tango dance across the forest floor?
Risk the chance of consequence found in romantic lore.

Would you'd like to bungee-jump off an uppermost ledge?
Risk the chance of consequence living right on the edge.

Would you'd like to take the stage acting out buried hope?
Risk the chance of consequence within life's horoscope.

Would you'd like to skinny dip under dim, moody skies?
Risk the chance of consequence bewildered in surprise.

Would you'd like to cruise the sea into some foreign port?
Risk the chance of consequence despite your last resort.

Would you'd like to feel true love both given and received?
Risk the chance of consequence until you have achieved.

If you knew you had six months before your last goodbye,
are there dreams yet unfulfilled you still want to try?
