Analysis of As The Heavens Cry
The rain striking your window,
is oblivious to your pain.
Yet it turns into teardrops,
as it trickles down the pane.
Feeling betrayed and anxious,
love has morphed into hate.
And anger devastates you,
as you contemplate your fate.
He left when you got pregnant,
now nothing will be the same.
And with teary eyes cast low,
you try to deal with your shame.
You lose yourself in the drops,
that fall from a weeping sky.
And curled behind the glass,
you watch as the heavens cry.
Anguish starts to grow inside,
aggravating your broken heart.
And as you start to tremble,
you begin to fall apart.
