Analysis of Another monday morning

Frozen,
A blank stare
A numb figure sits day after day
Hour after hour,
Mezmerized by her boredom

Eyes drooping,
Breath slow and shallow
Asleep yet awake
Mind blank, searching for exercise
electricity

Sitting in a cube,
Bottom numb,
Legs restless,
Awaiting the occasional beep

The beep of lies
The beep of life
Where dreary turns to giddy
When she's "put to work"

Am I alive?
Is this life?
Oh what we must do to survive
Sacrifice our brain and our health

Thus begins the melodrama of: Another monday morning
