Analysis of Leap of Faith
Holly Flame Maxey 1976 (baltimore)
Burning desire leads me to new roads
That I never even knew existed
I dream all day and every night
For this fire to be put out
Just long enough so i can remember
To catch my breath
I dance, I sing, I laugh
Yet, it is not complete
Without the presence of you
My Beloved
I can only be truly euphoric
When I can look into your eyes
I can only be existentially calm
When I can feel your warm embrace
The life is shallow and empty
Every day I wait for you
Wait...I should say
Every day I wait for me
To express, to tell you
The depth of my desire, my love
My hope for our future
