Analysis of Cracking

There’s a crack
Crack
Crack in my glass

It drips
Drips
Drips as I sip

Drown the past
Past
Past in my glass

As I slip
Slip
Slip through the cracks

Now I tap
Tap
Tap on my glass

Waiting for
the pain to pass

And they laugh
Laugh
Laugh as I crack

As I fade
Fade
Fade into black

Wake to shame
Shame
Shame it comes back

Quickly grasp
Grasp
Grasp for my glass

Now I’m trapped
Trapped
Trapped in the glass
