Analysis of Fearful dream

Dominick Harvey 1993 (FL)

At night when I lay my head down
My mind is far from counting sheep
Thoughts racing my heart pacing
Weary about the next day I'm facing
I'm stuck in a recurring journey
Things feel so vivid
What is this that keeps me awake
Undecided upon my path
Many signs pointing one way
What is this vision do I make
Not knowing What to do nor say
Looking up to a cloudless sky
I suddenly step off a cliff on too steep
I fall into an abyss I fall to my end
No longer picturing where life began
the end is near it isn't far
Never waking from this dream
Or worse this nightmare

Dominick Harvey

I started writing when I was a teenager when I was going through tough times as an adolescent rebellious and stubborn I eventually stopped but years later when I found myself staring at the ceiling of a cell I was inspired to pick up the pen again more…
