Analysis of Nostalgia
My hand before God;
I've been waiting for you.
Like Borges before he stretched forth
his octagonal revelation on data
little one of pride
of sweetness
of angelocity
dominant is that which holds it down --
I need to be quickened by good spirits like
"For God's sake, bring the drink." and
"Steam-powered is my love for you." --
Nostalgia's power to erase the pains of yesteryear
I wish I had it now,
As I travel in this city alone
Where my brethren lie in wait
Everyone I trusted has betrayed me for filthy lucre.
