Analysis of Love's Blessing Found

Will power is human
self seeking it craves,
the dreams of tomorrow
it weaves and engraves.

And pride is reluctant
to give up its way,
as ego emerges
from hiding at bay.

Plaint quickly steps in
toward selfish intent,
disaster befalls
upon its own contempt.

Then follows a radiance,
God's mercy and care,
to warn me in wisdom
against death and despair.

God's light fills the dark void,
like waves fill the sea,
like bird's flight above hills,
His Spirit leads me

Eyes  sparkle in brightness,
pride's burden falls off,
love's blessing flows gently
and turns wolf into dove.

O, blessed is this hour
God's love is revealed,
in peaceful encounter,
my soul is redeemed.
