Analysis of A love that is deep

Latin X 1967 (Philadelphia)

My heart is like a stone  difficult to penetrate.

It’s not full of hate.
I fear my gentle heart to break.
There’s a love I contemplate.

A love as pure as a child’s love.
Love as beautiful a dove.

Like two doves in a pond we’ll meet.
Our lips will unite for a kiss so sweet.
Creating a love that’s deep.
