Analysis of A Note for Myself

Be sure to ask for nothing
Swim inside that plea
Get lost within that ocean
And drown amidst that sea

Disobey doubt
Cast away the lies
You're only human after all
There is no other side

Feed into your truth
Feel all your love
Everything that's in you
Is made to be enough

Let the storms pass
Like they always do
Be sure to keep the faith
And stick to the truth

Doubt is but a coin
That flips two ways
One side projects hope
The other, pain

Melt back in the night
Let mystery be born
It's okay to be confused
On what it's all for

Feel yourself evolve
Awakening your soul
Maturing with the universe
As one well with the whole

Trust what's in your sight
Get lost in the dream
Sanctify your solitude
By sewing up your seams

This life is but a story
And you are but a page
Printed in an endless book
And bound by every age

Let your soul escape
And breach upon its fate
Let each moment open
And stride through every gate

You can do it in this life
You can do it anytime
What pours out from your heart
Is a wellspring so divine

One day you'll have to sleep
For a very long time
Back from whence you came
For eternity sublime

So, be sure to ask for nothing
Swim inside that plea
If you yearn for nothing more
You'll always be complete
