Analysis of Hurricane A-Brewin
Leslie Kay Lanham 1960 (West Virginia)
There’s a hurricane a-brewin
The barometer is falling
And no one’s going to save you
When the angry winds come calling
You should have never cheated
No you never should have lied
Now soon you will be drowning
In the ever rising tide
A hurricane’s a-brewin
And its eye is set on you
It’s time to pay the piper
For the evil that you do
It’s going to get real ugly
And it’s going to happen fast
You may not see the lightning
But you’ll feel the thunder blast
A hurricane’s a-brewin
This is one you can’t out-run
Your days ‘round here are numbered
Yeah, your time is nearly done
So stand and face your fate now
As the storm rolls up on shore
‘Cause Mother Nature’s knocking
And she’s right outside your door
A hurricane’s a-brewin
While it drags you out to sea
If you hear sounds of laughter
You can bet it will be me……
