Analysis of What If I Never Wondered?

What if I never wondered why
The nighttime moon gives light?
Or asked why clouds are not the same
With shapes and sizes delight!

What if each child did not go seek
The wonders nature shows,
Like ask a parent why birds speak
In ways we do not know?

And I would like to know just how
The leaves change colors when
The Autumn days begin to bow
To changes once again.

Our curiosity still shows
That magic is quite real
When we explore how nature grows
And has so much appeal!
