Analysis of The Art of Perseverance
Why does a gentle stream continually carve out the boulder that is set in the path of its’ destination? Because it must.
It is not during the infrequent times of being celebrated and praised for a great accomplishment that defines the best of us.
It is in the reasons why we get up each morning, willing to struggle and drudge through the labors in our life for a greater value, and it is in these reasons that we have purpose.
To be confident in our abilities, the conviction in our capabilities, and the sense in our faith that we must press forward.
Our resolve will triumph over all obstacles that will attempt to diverge our course.
Our dedication to endure the afflictions, for it inspires our determination.
Why am I here?
Because I was meant to be here.
The small battles of fear, despair, hopelessness, and lack of self-worth are conquered by our purpose.
The thorn in our side exist not to show any imperfections of ourselves, but to reveal that we are made perfect because all of the hardships in this world will be endured.
Our purpose is not a goal.
Our purpose is the humbled belief of a greater reason for our existence; our inspirations; our foundation.
Our purpose reveals our passions. We encounter our trials with the courage to understand that our faith besieged will nourish our perseverance.
Our devout determination to withstand the moments when we are beaten down and our heads are hung low with despair.
These are the moments that excite our resolve, for our commitment to persevere is fueled by the faith in our spirit never to lose sight of our vision for hope.
Hope is our compass.
It is the light in the darkness to conquer our fears and rebel in the face of hardship and pain.
Through hope we will endure the storm of adversity and carve out the rock of anguish and dismay.
Patience for the journey; commitment in our quest; wisdom from our afflictions; resolute with each step.
We will persevere because we must.
