Analysis of A nickel or a dime.

A nickel or a dime.

As I look, I can see golden daffodils dancing on the hills in the breeze. Then I look, and I can see 100 ships sailing in the sea. I can see a road made out of diamonds as far as my eyes can see. I look one more time and can see people who were hungry and thirsty and a lonely man sitting in the gutter, asking for a nickel or a dime so he could get by. Then this man, wearing a bright white suit and diamonds in his eyes, walked by and dropped a penny in his cup. Then I look at myself, and I look up to the sky and it makes me want to cry. There it is nothing else I can do but be by his side. So I put a dollar in his cup and he thanks me and says goodbye and I think he's going to buy a bottle of wine.
