Analysis of A childs plea

A cold chilly and hollow breeze as sharp as needles cuts through the air leaving an empty void where a fire once burned. The darkness echoed against the stone bricks and filled every corner. A child cries and no one hears its pain. A hunger has grown deep within him that tears at him and he screeches in pain as something twists and you hear cloth tear as he wails. An unknown presence stares down at him and touches the child gently teasing a glimmer of the hunger away yet that touch was fleeting and soon an emptiness filled the childs belly leaving him shivering in his bed. The emptiness of the night consuming him and he watches as dark shapes poke holes in his safety blanket leaving him vulnerable. Since that fleeting touch the only presence he has seen has been from the dark shadows. Falling off a shelf his favorite toy wrapped around the child trapping him yet leaving him cold. The child knows nothing about the safety of a mothers arms. The feeling of a warm hug which goes along with the scent of her perfume. He grows with no knowledge that there is one place that he is always welcome and have a door that is always open
