Analysis of Road Ahead

It feels long, hard and lonely
The road ahead is blurry
An undiscovered place is
Often a mysterious journey
Walking at all is
A miracle in itself
Unforeseen magic
For having survived an ordeal
Gone horribly wrong.

On the other side of better
Lies something different
If you’re brave and willing
Time will change things
What lies in front of you
Blossoms new colors
Yesterday fades
Because it always does
Whenever the Sun sets
It surely rises, too.

Healing is a delicate process
Not a one time event
The injury is temporary
But the memories
Will remain to remind you
Lessons are for learning
Not punishment
Scars serve to show
You will outlast the sorrow.

Darkness gives birth to the new
It’s where fresh life is
Conceived with ideas so vital
The Universe awaits
With joy at your arrival
You will emerge victorious
The road ahead reveals
You are meant to be here
To breathe a greater existence.
