Analysis of Fire

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

Your kisses calm and comforting
Spark my thoughts in ways most telling

Triggers emotions long since set aside
Tips the scales revealing feelings

more fluid than ego,
stronger than pride

Awakening a sacred ritual
which cannot be denied.

Providing the key to resurrection,
spiritually inspired.

Hacking into my body parts
unmistakably hard and fast

Seeking a natural ability
A gift you so willingly provide

only for me

Drawing me in so sweetly
Affecting me more than physically,

with an overwhelming desire
to connect within you

A place with dimensions
vast and deep

For reasons difficult to explain
Ignites my desire elevates my heartbeat

Raising my temperature

Takes me to a state
for my mind to prime

As my thoughts begin
to go somewhere deep

Skin secretes gentle rain
to spark the rhythm

Our bodies wind
as our souls intertwine

Our passions
follow the path

To a chain reaction
spiritual release
