Analysis of Living To Contribute

Living to contribute.
Living to make footprints on a path.
Living to move forward.
And not living to move backward.
To return or revisit,
A past my ancestors paved to have had.

That was done for me to learn,
What they did to do...
I did not earn to sit to brag about it.
What they did to do to contribute it done,
Was to allow me to know...
I too could go in any direction I wanted.
As long as I accepted and not expect,
Their challenges and obstacles...
To face with determination to erase.
Had been an example for me to use,
Faith to keep.
With kept belief,
That my choice to make to place my feet...
In a direction on a path,
No one else could see but me.
As long as I accepted and not expect,
Whatever I chose and choose to do...
In a direction on a path to place my feet,
At least my attempts,
Left to leave behind me...
Will encourage those today much younger,
To explore, adventure and not to fear...
A creating their own possibilities.
With a doing to someday closer appear.
Not to wish while sitting down to reminisce.
But getting up to move forward with effort.
Endeavored through storms,
And disappointments that may..
Prolong to go on.
But they too eventually come to an end.

Although...
To give up,
With a claiming to blame...
A kept faith was not enough.
Does not keep a belief on oneself.
To leave those younger left behind to accept,
Mediocrity to achieve successfully.
Is as common to observe and witness to see,
Many others doing nothing more...
But bragging what their ancestors did.
Before in a past to relive it.
Repeatedly to visit.
Is not a future that opens doors.
For those much younger,
Sitting with wishes yet fearing to hear...
How difficult it is,
To move forward and explore...
Their lives to adventure more.
Without having their hand to be held,
By someone else also afraid.
Teaching them to beware,
Of mistakes to make to eliminate...
Lessons for themselves.
To learn from them made.
With a living to contribute fear and thoughts,
Of threats to place their footprints on path...
Not for them to come to experience it done!
Yet contributing complaints.
Shared by everyone.
Listening to believe in deceptions achieved.
Successfully!

'Why can't I make a difference?'

'What is it that you want the most?
Approval and acceptance?
Or...
Gossip about how you always trying,
To walk alone on your own path.
Just for the attention to have it!'

'I want to set an example!'

'For who?
You are no pioneer.
Happier you would be.
If you set limits to your lofty dreams.
Who do you think you are an image maker?'

'Not yet.
But I am going to take those steps!'
