Analysis of The Pain-Part 2

Nikki Nevermind 1969 (California)

You brace yourself- you get prepared
You lose yourself as much as you dare
Numbing until you just don't care
Until you're almost unaware
Of THE PAIN, THE PAIN, THE UNBEARABLE PAIN
I don't think that it will ever change
It once was a big and obvious sight
But now it's dark and silent like night
More overwhelming and impossible to fight
A constant that won't let me be alright Reminding me that there's no end in sight
To THE PAIN, THE PAIN, UNBEARABLE PAIN
I don't think that I can do it again
I'm tired of feeling it, and feeling numb too
I know that there isn't anything that I can do
To stop this routine I keep going through
And the agony that will ensue
From the PAIN,THE PAIN, THE UNBEARABLE PAIN
