Analysis of The blood-soaked field

In the morning light, we march with pride
Our hearts and souls, in battle unified
The enemy stands, in a distant sight
We charge ahead, with all our might

Our swords held high, we clash in rage
The sound of steel, echoes on this stage
Blood spills forth, staining the ground
The smell of death, all around

We fight for glory, for victory and fame
But what we gain, is nothing but shame
As we watch our brothers, fall to the ground
Their cries for mercy, a haunting sound

The battlefield, a sea of red
The dying and wounded, left for dead
Our hearts heavy, with the burden we bear
The reality of war, too much to bear

We return home, scarred and changed
Our souls haunted, by the lives we've claimed
For the rest of our lives, we'll carry the pain
Of the blood-soaked fields, where we were slain

So let this be a warning, to those who seek war
The price of victory, is too much to ignore
The loss of life, the tears and the fears
Are too high a cost, for a cause that disappears.
