Analysis of Daddy
Beauty of Mother not for me
Yet to hold you I can see
Some day you will call me "Daddy".
Now a toddler running around
No more glorious a sound
As you learn to call me "Daddy".
I see the friends that you have made
Though your love for me not fades
It is less you call me "Daddy".
As a teen you find your own way
And to me that is okay
Though you rarely call me "Daddy".
Off to college, I am so sad
Been reduced to only “Dad”
But you used to call me "Daddy".
Married, joyful, with girl and boy
Three times now is all my joy
Maybe “Gramps” is same as "Daddy".
Tragedy in an SUV
All gone now, my family
I so miss your call of “Daddy”.
Ever miss your call of “Daddy”.
