Analysis of Competitive Deception

Living in times to accept,
Competitive deception.
And it known effective.

Lies told to sell sold and done well.
Leaving many left to thirst,
For more fraud and corruption to crave first.

People honest are suspect.
When a doing of good deeds,
Are distrusted to disbelieve.

And those profiled to be followed,
No longer feel safe walking the streets...
In their own communities to be questioned,
By block watchers armed as if the police.

'HEY!
YEAH YOU.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING,
WALKING THE STREET THIS TIME OF NIGHT.
AND WHAT IS IN THAT BOX YOU CARRY?'

'I am delivering food your family ordered.
You don't remember me?
How about Buffalo wings hot and spicy.
A double order for a family of four.
It was you last week that opened the door.
I see you have your costume on.
I mean...uniform.'

'Oh...
I had forgotten all about that.
Well...
Stay safe.
One never knows whose who these days!'

'Didn't you see me,
Getting out of that delivery car?'

'Yeah but...
One can never trust,
What they see to be for real.'

'I hope that rifle aimed at me isn't loaded!'
