Analysis of Fate's Perfect Match

Kyle Studt 1989 (West Frankfort)

In the quiet of the night,
A boy sat alone in his room;
Dreaming of a love so right,
Hoping it would come soon.

Then came a day so bright,
When fate led him to her;
His heart took flight,
As if it all were a blur.

Their eyes met and time froze,
As they both recognized the spark;
The feeling that only grows,
In hearts that light the dark.

With each passing day,
Their love grew deeper still;
No words could ever say,
How much they made each other feel.

For the boy had found his match,
His one true love indeed;
Their love would forever hatch,
A bond that would never recede.

And so they danced away,
Into the horizon of their love;
Their hearts found a way,
To rise above.

For when you find your one true love,
The whole world seems to change;
And nothing else can soar above,
The feeling that will forever remain.

I would not consider myself a poet but I like to write what I feel. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, but it is true to me. more…
