Analysis of 18
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Young man.
Soon you will be 18.
Graduating from high school.
To enter college.
From an earned and much deserving,
Football scholarship.
Words to say can not express,
Just how proud I am...
Of your efforts endeavored.
You will grow to become,
The man you are meant to be.
Regardless of who approves,
Dislikes to disapprove.
Or welcome the blooming,
You have accomplished to continue to do.
With challenges to come to test,
It will be your faith kept to bring your success.
And all you have to do is your best.
To allow happiness for you to happen!
Congratulations!
So proud of you I will always be.
