Analysis of And so
Back upstairs and living the lie.
It sings in silence, hidden in sight.
I write this as sounds of fun
Leave me broken for what I’ve done.
I know she knows, we know the truth.
But, nothing said, it’s like a roof
That covers loss and sad regret
I don’t know where we’ll go with it.
Before us lies a path that may
Bring us back together one day.
I’m not sure when that day will be
I know I want it to be free.
Free of pretending, free of crap
Back inside the loving trap
That keeps us together
Through come what may.
I hope tomorrow comes today.
