Analysis of In The Dark

In The Dark

In the dark our love dreams us together
So far apart our bodies are
Orbiting the same star
Wishing for the same bed
Would hold us together
Two hearts, one love
Asleep beneath the night sky.

Darkness sews us as one tapestry
The cosmic circle we create
Turns with lights galore
Every desire lifts up
A prayer for our union
Destiny writes our names
Together across the night sky.
