Analysis of When I Pass By Your Old Place
When I Pass By Your Old Place
By Nancy Rodriquez
When I pass by your old place,
my heart breaks into pieces,
in the remembrance of us before mistakes,
when we were losing our leases,
It is a sad time and reality,
I am going through the motions of life,
living is for people in love and not fantasy,
Gone are the dreams of becoming your wife,
it was stolen from me,
I want to look into your eyes again,
and make you understand,
You played games with my emotions using pain,
I feel as if you used me with your commands,
and I thought we had something real,
while you took away my faith in you,
and you ran away to the wrong deals,
sleeping around is how I knew,
Did you truly love me at all?
