Analysis of Left too soon
LINAMANDLA NDZANYA 2004 (MTHATHA)
LEFT TOO SOON
Unexpected you came
Unplanned you stayed
Attached we became
Still feels like yesterday
A void you left in the heart I had to pretended wasn’t there
Faking a smile? Yeah, I have mastered that art
1,2,3 as I break into pieces
What if I said “ I love you “ more ?
What if I did more?
You still visit my dreams,
Always good feeling your presence
Hearing the sweet melody of your voice to
The picture-perfect skin of yours
Melanin never been this fine
If only I could say more to you
If I said I love you one more time
We have lost an angel and
The skies gained one prettier star
I could have done more
I could have said more
