Analysis of by an oasis

underneath a shade
let me hurt
to tell the old man about you
give away a piece of my illusion,
but not the actual pain,
I never comprehended his words
about suicidal dreams,
undecided about a way to decipher
a vision of me
hot in the shade
next to an oasis
a visioned mirage
hiding the next oasis
that I could never reach,
just like you.
=
I think I’m numb
taking strokes from the sun in stride
alone to ponder this trip with jitters of hope
holding my breath
for your return
to tell you I want to trip
on the fault line
to end it here
a pure, un-tampered message
underneath the shade
by an oasis.
