Analysis of Change

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Change, change, change, yes change is my friend;
Nothing ever changes on the outside of men.
Before it began it was destined to end,
Thank God for the inside, for a Spirit that mends!

Reality forever stays the same,
Only your perceptions of it change.
You look at it once and then once again,
You look at it twice and then twice times ten,
Nothing ever changes on the outside of men.

The Word never changes, the Word changes you.
Now tell me my love what are we to do?
Change, change, change, yes change is my friend;
It’s the same in the beginning as it is in the end!

Change is the inward struggle to break free from an earthly body.
The glory is to God! He makes it easy to understand!
