Analysis of Alone

Alone..
What Does it Mean To Be On Your Own,
In A Crowded Room You Feel Out Of Place & Alone.
That Empty Feeling That Lives Inside,
When good Feelings Abandoned you long ago,
And The Idea of friendship Died.
When You Avoid The light & Prefer The Dark,
Cuz if They Can't See you They Can't Break You Apart.
You Become ok with Being Your Own Best Friend.
You never have to Fake it or Pretend.
Your Faith In others Erodes Like Rust,
You Let Go Of Feelings Because You Must,
You Teach Youself It's Wrong To Trust.
When Everyone You Hold Dear Has Left you or Died,
You have Run Out Of Tears For All The Times You Cried.
You Feel Empty To Your Core, In Your Bones,
This is What It Truly is To Be Alone.
It's Better This Way As You Can't Be Hurt,
You & You Alone Are The Only One To Throw Yourself Down Into The Dirt.
If You Can Learn To Embrace  This You Are Actually Free.
Not Many Can Live in This Kind of Reality,
I have Accepted It As Just Part of Being Me.
