Analysis of I Don’t Deserve It

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Him in you and Him in me,
Together we will always be!

I pray that I will see it here,
But still I know the time is near!

I can’t deny His sovereign plan,
The one He has for every man.

The ways of God seem strange to me,
But just and true they’ll always be!

I can turn up the praise, with just a touch.
How could I ever deserve so much?
