Analysis of LOOKING BACK BUT NOT GOING THAT WAY
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
There comes a time in our lives when we take a deep breath and a step back asking ourselves who will continue with us in this journey of lost youth and aging years. who will realize that we no longer see with the same eyes as yesterday?
The love and the hate of people and things are no longer the same and there will be those moments when we do not even remember the pain or their names. looking back but not going that way. those eyes caught me with a shimmering glance and I opened the doorway to my chance.
I am walking down the road of memory lane and the street that now is filled with desire there was the moment when I was everybody's beautiful liar dancing in the rain looking back but not going that way because there is a fluorescent sky of sunshine in front of me so please I ask of you let me be in my peace even if you do not agree
