Analysis of No Rain
I touch the window, it's cold
I glance outside
Shoving the past aside
There is no rain outside
Even the sky
Too numb to cry
This is all so wrong
There should be rain
Instead is a clock
Going dong, dong, dong
There should be rain
To match the pain
There should be darkness
Maybe some low rolling mist
Instead there is sun,
happiness and fun
Slaves of love
Such fools!
For what comes after love
Is sorrow and despair
Not even a single lingering dare.
