Analysis of Borderline

My thoughts are too erratic.
Here on a ledge, flirting with insanity.
My head is spinning; spiraling.
The sway is repetitive; unevenly disproportionate.
A sudden somersault of emotions,
Led to one misstep into the sea.
Seemingly everywhere, I'm nowhere at all.
I am a breath away from drowning;
Yet I refuse to sink.
Survival of the fittest, an arsenal of trauma in my wake.
A simple misjudgment, the space around me turns vacant.
A voice or two off into the distance.
Echoes of a past self; an alternate universe.
The lack of oxygen; turning beige into purple.
Here in this ocean, the salt tastes of poison.
My mind is betraying me; a confabulation.
Bit by bit; silent misconceptions.
A battle with selfish  sensations.
Another way to flat line.
On the borderline of destruction, self-sabotaging ruination.
I've sunk too far down, there's no surface in sight.
My thoughts are misplaced, a figment of reality.
I am seconds away from drowning;
Yet I refuse to sink....
