Analysis of Mobile Inspection Station

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

It’s time for a little bit of self-inspection
To find out what’s going on
Is there a need for some major correction?
Before I can keep moving on

I see that my tread on the road’s wearing thin
So, I’ll have to stop soon to fix it
I can see that I’m gonna need a new set of skins
The old and the new I can’t mix it

I can tell the weight that I’m bearing is too much
If I don’t lose some I’ll be in trouble
I need a strong hand with a gentle touch
So, my trip won’t be turned into rubble
