Analysis of Stardreams (The next chapter)
The dreams of evernight, cast in endless glory.
Pored from a mold, never quite true.
Yet all was wrought, by one, for you.
A multitude of brilliant stars.
What might they hold?
Grant me, but one wish.
There, I wish to go.
And talk of peace and truth, as best I could.
I would invite but two.
Then bring my friends along.
Oh, but to find, those, there among.
I'd offer my hand in friendly gesture.
I would ask the universe, for safe passage.
The wonders to be seen.
The hardships to endure.
Very much like home.
A silent echo, in the mind's ear.
Distant memories, carried from the past.
Songs of yesteryear, long forgotten friends.
Passing thoughts, a half remembered dream.
Laughing silently, then out loud.
All to one's self. Once more, reality.
Your light years away and a lifetime to go.
Carried by the wind of a star gone nova.
You slip through evernight.
Lost, in a starman's dream.
Home is here, among nebula's of wonder and color.
And blackholes of fantastic size.
Yet, if upon this Earth,
my journey still carries me.
Then for those who may be out there.
Peace and good fortune.
