Message Denied

Here I stand before you, I would say empty. But I am not. I am filled with shame, for what our race has done. To ourselves and to the one who created us. There is nothing left but the final destruction. This, we have done to ourselves!
For this, there should not be any salvation, no forgiveness! We have lost ourselves so long ago in the sands of time, that we have forgotten our way back. And the truth left within our soul, washed away as surely as the wind and rain erodes the earth.
Because of these things, we should be forgotten. To exist no more in memory or structure, through phase or word. Washed clean by wind and rain as well, as the vastness of time.
The abomination we have become, can no longer be denied. Rotting with deceit and guile. The stench that grows from a disease, for which there is only one cure. And yet we choose not to see that which we do. The real crime we commit. “This is not true”, you would shout to hide it from yourself. Still, it is real. Deny it all you wish! I know you will. It is just one symptom of the truth.
This is what we deserve! Nothing more, nothing less.
Look around you. Look at the one who stands next to you. What is it they have that you want? Would you take it from them? No? Are you sure this is the answer? If not this one, then someone else? No? Yet you do.” No!” You say. This is that of which I speak. The justification of that which is wrong. “So what if a few die, that I may live. Millions die every day.”
Sound familiar. Do you see it in others? Yet we deny it in ourselves! Brutalize others for even suggesting it. Are we so blind and deaf? Yet we show it in every action. Yes, deny it! We’ve gotten so good at it, we now believe it. “I AM BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE!”. We shout. And believe. Then destroy those who would disagree.
We stand in the eye of the crucible. Do you believe this is the first time our race, (black, white, yellow or brown, doesn’t matter. We are one species.)? Do you really believe this is the first time? Are you so foolish to believe it is? If you are. Then you cannot see that which we have become. That which we have brought upon ourselves.
