Analysis of Stay Alive...

Walk away and be a voice
Though it looks a cowardly choice.
Please, live and be mocked
Than die leaving many shocked.

Why stay in the vow
And to death you take a bow?
Why wrestle for the golden ring
That’s full of venomous sting?

Plead you to live peacefully alone
Than endure a deathly throne.
Never you live in a home
Once it becomes a vicious dome.

A call to flee while alive
Than be the fatal news that thrive.

About this poem

This poem is a piece of advice to spouses who still succumb to the gruesome hands of domestic violence. It is gender neutral because both men and women are victims of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. It's a plea not to numbered among the mortal victims of this terrible act. Swallow up your pride or fear of what the society will say...this same society will mock you or even spit on your grave for being bravely stupid or just a stark weakling once you are dead! It is a call for one to flee for their lives before beingswallowed up by this DOMESTIC BEAST!! The LAW of LIFE supersedes the LAW of MARRIAGE or COURTSHIP! My humble submission
