Analysis of Let's try again

Do you still remember?
when you said you love her?
You didn't even let me react,
And turn your back as you will never look back.

I want to chase you,
I want to stop you,
Please tell me it’s not true,
And you’re joking like you used to.

Eyes in tears,
Heart full of tears,
Let’s try and gamble with fears,
Let’s try again in pairs.

Once again, let me love you more,
I will try to keep this love restored,
Pretend that it’s me you adore,
Love me like how you used to before.

My love, Let’s stay in this land,
I’m willing to forget and understand,
I promise not to demand,
Just don’t let go of my hand.
