Analysis of DEATH, WHY FORSAKE ME?
GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)
I think about you all the time
I yearn for you above all
I pray for your visit daily
Why forsake me?
My labored breath inflates
For the sole purpose to deflate
My erratic loud heartbeat
Are my demons clamoring release
My weary steps are endless
Leading to nowhere anywhere
My arms labor day in day out
But gets nothing to the mouth
My mind thinks all the time
From toddler to my thirty
But has found no solutions
Except one final savior
My Lord, why forsake me?
