Analysis of Good Times

Hey everybody, Femi White's in town,
c'mon y'all be happy, and throw away all frown.
I've made alotta money, let's all spend it now.
Can't wait to see my mama,
and I know she'll be proud.

Don't care if you black or white,
whether you wearing pants or gown,
here is an entrance of light,
oh, it's a new dawn.

What is all your worries?
drop 'em on the floor.
papa, mama and youngies,
I'm talking to all of y'all.

Been out here chasing papers,
in the rain and sunshine.
Been getting complaint letters,
but now e'thing's fine.

It's time to put out all sorrows
and wear a big size of smiles.
Now is time to give and not borrow,
and that shows how time flies.

The days of starving are over,
the times of mourning gone.
Let's now have good times together,
let us all live as one.
