Analysis of The Best of Me

Katelynn Gates-Schell 1996 (Kitchener)

Your lips still feel plush against mine
like you are the perfect steak in the evening and a
delicious morning breakfast in bed with coffee and a side of me
Your smell is sticking to my nostrils
like a rose I just kept on smelling
to me you are perfection
I just hope you feel it too
I am not enough so I sit in the darkness
just cheering you on hoping that one day;
you may use a flashlight
and
catch a glimpse of me.
