Analysis of A troubled soul

As life gives food to those who are hungry
But not to what we desire
A brought forth is just a tease of the real thing
As the pain becomes all consuming
we grow inevitably
Trying to grow up but our standards decline
From the rampage of within
The scars, left
As the ugly side of our own human nature takes over
we're left with nothing but calamity
Nothing grows without scars
Wisdom preserved, disciplined and nourished like a flower that blossoms by dawn and grows with gratitude
Thus shines and burns like the sun
From it's brilliance everything is illuminated
Guided by the unknown
For birth and death are mere concept of human fear
I feel nothing and yet I feel everything
No matter how far we detour into fear
There's always hope near
The journey strikes the innocent heart
As I live quietly
In the moment and see the beauty of all
I let the future take care of itself
For I stumble on the way
Regret taunt me
Perplexed by my own sense of reasoning
I've lived in delusion
The world was drama
staged in a dream
I'm free from my own mind
at least I know peace
engraved by my own fangs
I hurt myself to change
But I am judged by the people around me
They act concerned
But pleased of how I'm hurt
Staying strong for those who look up to me
Those you see the light that I don't
My focus is indirect
I see what a few people can
I seek comfort
The past, present and future
Unfolds
Chaos erupts
Like mother nature giving birth to its wonders
From destruction
By instinct we survive
As we seek comfort in one another
We seek friendship

About this poem

I wrote this poem because sometimes I try so hard to fit, and in the process I lose to something that I'm not....
