Analysis of Bells and Trumpets

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Though he slays me I will praise him
These are eight words you should say
If you don’t understand them
You should wait another day

Just fix your eyes on Jesus
Take examples from his life
The word of God is mighty
It will cut you like a knife

What would it profit a man?
If he gained the whole world but lost his soul

Now I know I’m good to go
No one on earth can stop me
They’ll place me in Yeshua’s hands
His Spirit will not drop me
